The following is a detailed schedule of construction activity on the Townhouse buildings (212-216 East 16th Street) between April 2 and May 31, 2019:
Construction work hours will remain the same: 7 AM – 6 PM on Monday – Friday, and 9 AM – 5 PM on Saturday
April:
South elevation standing seam metal
South elevation operable window glass installation with scaffold removal
Townhouse roof pavers and acoustical metal enclosures
North elevation brick restoration on Hunter Hall
Removal of scaffolding and overhead protection in front of Hunter Hall only
Installation of the Great Room east curtain wall glass and removal of weather walls/courtyard scaffolding
Interior finishes and starting to paint
Gas and water connections on 16th Street by ConEd and our contractors
Exploratory 15th Street excavation for DEP in relation to capped water service
May:
Removal of north elevation scaffold and alteration to overhead protection and lane closures. Please note we will be setting up a pedestrian walkway in the street in front of the Townhouses in order to begin the front yard work
Third floor Peace Terrace waterproofing and pavers
Third floor Peace Terrace planters and east guard rail installation
Third floor Peace Terrace NanaWall system door installation
Interior finishes and painting
